Gottfried Helnwein’s Angel Sleeping awakened in Waterford Co. Waterford, Ireland — 06 Sep. 2007 — Described as controversial, provocative and undoubtedly larger than life, the works of Austrian born, Waterford-based artist Gottfried Helnwein are sure not to disappoint when launched at Greyfriers Municipal Gallery in Waterford on Friday, September, 7th.As part of the Waterford Fringe Festival, Helnwein is one of the many artists exhibiting at this years’ festival.
